RE: JOB ADVERTOur client who is the leading provider of convenient and secure car park management systems in East Africa is seeking to recruit an energetic and motivated individual to fill the Position of Chief technical Officer to support parking management systems. This is done to allow casual parking to enter our clients designated facilities. This helps in better management of vehicles and the data collection of who has entered with which vehicle and at what time. This will enable our client to run well-coordinated parking facilities that function smoothly, safely, and reliably.

To maintain the parking systems operational, monitoring the parking facility through systems in place, administration of the parking systems.
|Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
a. Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the post’s emergency action plans (software malfunctions, network disturbances, tare and ware of parts, instability of power, etc.).
b. Additionally, the Technical Officer must demonstrate a working knowledge of the technical security systems and access control devices. TRAINING TO BE GIVEN BEFORE COMMENCEMENT OF WORK ON THE SYSTEM
c. The Access Control assistant must also be familiar with basic emergency notification system, communication system and post
d. Where appropriate, the Technical Officer will maintain in a neat, orderly, legible fashion, all records generated by the systems, incident reports, or any other written record.
e. Will not offer or divulge any information about operations or personnel to anyone. They will report any attempt by individuals to solicit information regarding the operations.
f. Access Control assistant will brief and pass on any special instructions to their relief person concerning outstanding or significant events that occurred during the previous shift.
g. Handle emergency notifications in accordance with standard existing policies.
h. Carry out any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the management.
